Jill Somerville - Physical Therapy Professional

Jill is a dedicated, thoughtful, passionate, intuitive Physical therapist who has been practicing in her field for the past 15 years. She graduated in 2003 from Mount St. Mary’s Masters of Physical Therapy Program, in Los Angeles. Jill has studied a variety of techniques over the years and draws on her multi-modal practice in treating each patient. Through her strong hands-on approach, wide base of knowledge, and her passionate advocacy for each patient’s well being, patients experience the most effective and positive rehabilitation.

Jill first became interested in cryotherapy in 2016 after she and her husband tried it for the first time, for overall wellness. The benefits of cryotherapy made perfect sense to Jill, and she found that it nicely complimented the manual and hands-on work that is done by a physical therapist.

Jill recently relocated to New Zealand with her kiwi husband and two (very) active boys.

I’m excited to join my two passions - physical therapy and cryotherapy - together into one clinic.

You only have one body, so make sure you take care of it.

Physical Therapy With Jill

Physical Therapists are considered ‘movement experts.’ Your session will involve an overall assessment of your posture, and individual areas that you may be having an issue with. The one hour session will include many soft tissue releasing techniques, as well as joint mobilizations and manipulations for proper alignment and function. Other techniques may include: Graston, muscle energy, contract-relax, Maitland, McKenzie, Mulligan, therapeutic exercises,  and taping techniques (Kinesio tape & McConnell.) A lot of education throughout the treatment is always involved, as it is very important to learn about your body, and how you, as an individual, can keep it in the good position that we have just aligned you in. See you Soon!

Price for 1 hr session: $150 - or $200 for a session with cryotherapy included
